Terms of Use
Last updated November 7, 2026
By creating an account or using Ghost you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Ghost is provided under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms.
Who can use Ghost
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for your account and for what is sent from it, including messages your Ghost sends under the rules you set.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Ghost. You may not use Ghost, or have your Ghost, send content that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful or discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics;
- is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way;
- promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism or illegal activity;
- is spam, a scam, malware or impersonation;
- infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
You can report any message by long-pressing it and choosing Report, and block anyone from the ⋯ menu in a chat. We review reports within 24 hours, remove offending content, and suspend or terminate the accounts of users who post it.
Your Ghost and AI content
Your Ghost and AI write generate text with an AI model. Every AI message is labeled. AI output can be wrong, so review drafts before sending and do not rely on your Ghost for anything important; anything about money, commitments or private details is left for you to answer yourself.
Your content
You own what you send. You give us the limited permission needed to store, transmit and process it to run Ghost for you and the people you talk to.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers
Ghost is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Ghost.
